I live in SoCal, in an area low in traffic. A guy just came into the barber shop fuming that he was charged $28 for a Lyft ride. The barber said "You could've just walked from your place in 15min."

Point being: I wonder if Lyft up-charges during days they have a major promo.

If he is a 15 minute walk away and is spending $28 on a Lyft, I hope he is getting an expensive haircut.

He must of had a crazy surge added. Shouldn't be a that much for a mile ride no matter how busy they would be.
