Anyone want to comment on these? I see many reports of daily disconnects and drops.

Wondering how this compares to the 3 unit mesh from EERO that was on SD yesterday for $80?

I've used these for about two years now, I don't get daily disconnects and drops but I do find a regular reboot in the middle of the night once a week helps stability. I use these for my home and my parents with no issues.

I have these and they're amazing. Haven't had any drop out issues. Wouldn't recommend going wireless between the two though. That's where all the issues happen. Spent a bit of extra money getting a guy to wire an Ethernet cable through the walls to upstairs so they could be hard wired to each other, which is what makes the big difference. If your house is already wired with Ethernet you're probably in good shape.

I also installed 4 of these in a bigger house and hard wired them all to the main one and the coverage is better than anything we've ever had. 400+ mb/s in the backyard and drive way.

Almost the anti Amazon/eero and much better performance wise. But you're paying a premium upfront for all the customizability and included lifetime antivirus compared to the neutered and subscription based experience with Amazon. I told myself to wait for WiFi 7 because it actually utilizes all 3 bands simultaneously and the new 6ghz bands will help with interference with neighbors but wifi 6 feels really zippy compared to wifi 5 and I don't intend on upgrading my Internet speeds past gigabit until they're entry level price any time soon.

I've had these since 2020 and I used to get random disconnects from time to time, but it turns out it was an issue with the Xfinity network. Once I switched to AT&T Fiber, I never had any issues.

One thing I kept seeing recommended was to not update the firmware unless it was a critical security update. Every network is different and an update could break something for you and not others, so if you're firmware was stable, just stay on it.

Another recommendation was to schedule a reboot once or twice a week, just to make sure nothing bugged out on it.

Everything on my network worked flawlessly except for the PS5. For some damn reason the PS5 would just not connect to the Wifi 6 network at all. I had to disable it for it to connect to the router, but then it would cripple my other Wifi 6 devices. It was so annoying and I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't connect that I decided to just run the PS5 wired to avoid crippling my network.

Range is phenomenal on these. I have three, and honestly I don't even think I need the third one. I have one at one end of the house and the other at the other end, and those two connect perfectly over three walls. The third one is set somewhat in the middle of those two but in another room just to avoid any deadzones but I honestly don't think I need it.

Just my two cents.
