Good price considering the curved jaw is the full size 10" version.
Tho if you want the absolute best in vice-grip style pliers, there's nothing that even comes close to Malco Eagle Grips.
You'll pay at least double this price for one full size locking pliers, but they're built to be able to be last your entire lifetime and then thru the next 2 generations of your offspring for their lifetimes of use.

100% Chinese

A year ago a bunch of Milwaukee branded locking pliers got accidentally packaged in Harbor Freight blister packs, and were being sold at HF. Obviously made in the same factory.

The internet laughed.

Agreed! It's not often that Knipex takes 2nd place, but when it comes to locking pliers Malco has them beat for sure. Irwin, Milwaukee, and the rest are made in Taiwan/China, while Malco are the only locking pliers made in the USA.

I actually prefer the straight jaws and use them far more often than the common curved jaw version.
Sadly, this will be Malco's last year of production of their locking pliers line. What they have in stock now will be it, so if anyone wants Malco the timer is ticking, but not for too much longer.

These things are GREAT! I've seen many knockoffs of Visegrip over the years, none of which matched the originals. These are better. I've no experience with Malco, but the Amazon reviews are good. Coming up $18 for me. 30683. But I get military discount.

Underrated comment. Malco is the standard.

These are great buy in this price range. The knipex would be tier up. Malco buy it for life tier

In saying you have no experience with Malco, you'd be amazed at how much of a difference there is between Irwin (the originals) and Milwaukee versions, versus Malco.
I've gotten rid of and replaced all my locking pliers with Malco's. The non-Malco locking pliers are fine for light to medium use, but if you put heavy use on them only the Malco's will stand up to it and for a lifetime. Really a night and day difference.

Not a bad deal... but these are definitely my favorite locking pliers from the last 20 years.

The red bolt is a great idea, and I ended up taking all my older Vise-Grip pliers and replacing the thumb screw with a flat tab one like Milwaukee has.

These are available in store. Don't know why the website says it's not.
