It sounds like you don't really understand how FlexVolt batteries work.

Dewalt isn't scamming anyone; you simply just don't get it.

Delete your post ASAP, it's embarrassing.
No issues with fastenersinc at all and I've bought from them about 10 times. If you are buying just one Dewalt thing from them, they ship it in the box it comes in and they seal the whole thing with packing tape, some people hate this, I don't mind because it won't get ruined even if left out in the rain.

No coupon codes but you probably won't get charged tax. Their sales are usually the cheapest for Dewalt stuff.

If you're getting something over 100 bucks already, check out their closeout section for stuff you probably don't need but would get if it's a closeout price. I wound up getting a set of aluminum pipe wrenches I wouldn't have bought otherwise. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

I absolutely love mine. Biggest mistake I made was getting a dedicated hedge trimmer instead of just an attachment to this tool.

2 Questions:

1 - Anyone had any issues with fastenersinc seller?
2 - Any known discount codes for fastenersinc?

Thank you

Great deal this thing is a banger. I've gone through a number of iterations of 20v trimmers and a snapper 60v, this is the first trimmer I've had that I felt like rivaled the power of a gas unit. One thing, dewalts trimmer heads are not real great. I'd buy a husqvarna T35, easy to load, feeds well, only part you'll ever need is a bump cap every season or two.

I have one of these, the power it has is ridiculous. Especially when paired with the ryobi blower attachment. The string trimmer is crazy powerful as well, I thought I might lose a toe the first time trying it.

Thanks for the reminder on the head. I have the basic Dewalt 20v trimmer and trying to decide if I want to replace the stock guard/deflector (tiny) and add a new head. Have plenty of large 20v batteries so a 60v one I would need some more.

My little guy is fine except for 1-2x a year when I trim the first at the top of my hill. 20v can do it but am swapping batteries every 20-30 mins and takes all afternoon knocking the tall stuff then hitting it again.

3ah in 60v mode. Means 9ah in 20 volt mode I would guess.

I have one of these…. They're awesome… better than the green works 80v I had before too. I use different attachments …string trimmer, edger, hedge trimmer, and chainsaw…all which are the universal standard and can be purchased from most brands… meaning you can wait for another slickdeal attachment sale and get them cheap. You can also use extension poles, mine are made by Ryobi and craftsman, to use the hedge trimmers or chainsaw to get higher things trimmed… not for the faint of heart, but I use 3 extensions with a chainsaw to trim my palms.
