Seems very convenient, but really wish they will have 4K soon.

Not sure it's waterproof with an IPX4 rating.

this isn't a 360 camera but I would think the overall image would be better from an X3. The X3 also has a removable battery but obviously bulkier and higher risk of damaging either lens while you'd probably have less to worry about dropping the Go 3 at least on a soft surface. I would be careful about dropping it on the road or another hard surface.

Meh.. it's 2023 and still no 4K? It should be a standard resolution in all cameras nowadays. Even cheap Chinese action cameras has 4K resolution. For $370, hard pass.

What bundle is this exactly?

Is this the base bundle that's $400 on Amazon? I think I see maybe just the added quick release mount

Also any ideas on return policy? I see 90 days for electronics, any issue with open box and heavy use testing it out for that time period?

Googling the model "CINSABKA_GO303" this seems to be the 64GB version.

From $434 (B&H Photo) to $370 is a nice discount, I would have loved the 128gb with the travel kit tho.

This camera is not for everybody, this is not really a go pro/dji replacement, but more an extra tool. It's small, the stabilization is great, the back is magnetic (the camera), you can use the pod as a remote monitor (without the need to use your phone, connecting...etc). It is not 4K, some users have reported out of sync audio/video issues, but I havent had that.

This is the action bundle which only add the quick release adapter to the "base" model.

You can go to the "In the Box" section on the insta360 website and they have a comparison between the different bundles.

Costco is praised as one of the best places to buy things for their warranty, I havent used that yet but thats what I have heard. 1 year ago I bought a go pro bundle from costco, after 1 month I didn't liked it as an upgrade from my hero 8 so I returned it after 1 month of moderate use. The lady at the counter only asked why im returning it, which I responded didnt fit my neeeds" she checked it and that's it. The camera was as new tho.

Seriously. I don't get it. Why wouldn't a 5.3k GoPro 10 for $250 be a better buy in almost every respect? Even with an accessory bundle, wouldn't it still be cheaper? Am I missing something?

This thing is TINY. I've worn it clipped to a hat, on a magnetic pendant on a roller coaster, etc. You can barely tell it's there. With a GoPro, you'll need to mount it and it's like 3x the size (the camera portion, not the camera+dock).

This isn't for people who want the best resolution. I consider it a fun camera to take on stuff with my kids - water parks, amusement parks, vacations, etc. My kids have worn it on the pendant - they would kill me if I tried to mount a gopro on a helmet or something.

Exactly. It's for unique ways to attach a camera of this size to new things. I use it for the hat attachment. The magnet system is great, as well as the sticky mount pad that will stick to just about anything. The software option to record video and export as both portrait & horizontal is so easy to use. The downside for me is no support for external mics, so you rely on the dual mic system, which can be limiting if you want to record audio in a noisy place.

Thanks for the reply the Go 3 product page on the box tab really clears up decision making

For public reference

$399.99 base

$434.98 action "kit" (+$35 for just the quick release... not much of a kit)

This is -$30 base cost for the action 'kit' pretty nice if you're looking for a versatile camera. Magnets are huge idk why everyone isn't doing it. But the idea of always on you 1 click away to capture as many moments as possible is such a big sell for this, I just wish the accessories/kits were a bit more generous
