Decent enough for bulk storage @ 4TB
The MP600 Core XT is another option for fast-enough, capacious NVMe SSD storage. This is a barebones drive with unexceptional performance, but at the right price would be a good option for adding more storage to your system.
Pros
+Up to 4TB, single-sided
+Corsair warranty and support
Cons
-Disadvantages of QLC, including low TBW
-Mediocre performance on the whole
QLC, somewhat comparable to Crucial P3+ which was $170ish (4TB) around Prime Day. I won't spend this much on an entry level QLC gen4 drive.
YMTC drives at sub $200 for 4TB is kinda the norm now, or HP/Acer rebranded IG+Micron drives.
SN850X was $230 with 12% cashback.
At $160 you can also consider the MP34 if you don't absolutely need Gen4.

QLC, 900TBW warranty (terrible), the MP34 is better
Also its been bouncing back and forth at this price point for months. Not a special deal or anything you need to rush for.
Personally, I'm waiting for black friday, it's coming soon.
Since this drive is NOT an enterprise product, your average user would have to completely fill the drive 225 times in order to write 900TB worth of data.
To be honest, I can't fathom filling it ONCE, let alone 225 times.
Good for a media server but even then it's read more than it's written to and doubtul you'd put 900TB on it before the warranty expires (or you upgrade to the then cheap 8TB drive for $150 or whatever it is).
that one is good if you really just don't care and want a drive. but sorry to say that one is very bad as a movie or video drive. sustained writes of big files slow to crawl on that drive.
i would get this one if doing it as a movie/video drive or get this one if you want something a little cheaper but from amazon.

The comments about QLC and TBW are always funny.95% won't notice a difference or hit the TBW. And if they do hit the latter - it's not like a drive will spontaneously combust. Lab tests have shown most drives will live to a multi fold of that minimum.
Now whether this is a great deal *considering* it's QLC and TBW is another, and there is some merit there.

Read 5,000 MB/s
Write 4,400 MB/s
(No, this recommended for PS5 as the min read requirement is 5,500 MB/s)
