Just my opinion, this should have been a great game but was ruined (for me) by the insanely laid out levels (no rhyme or reason) and worthless ingame map. Much like Jedi: Fallen Order*. Feels like it was a conscience choice by the Devs to artificially increase play time (or to pretend the linear gameplay was actually open world) and to force you to stumble upon secrets as opposed to actually discovering them.
Actual gameplay, story, and world building was super strong though.
BTW, check your Epic game store as you might have already redeemed this game for free last year.
*A simple waypoint / breadcrumb system would have solved this consistent complaint of both games.

Yeeting furniture and garbage cans at enemies in stunning RTX never gets old.
Just found this is on Geforce Now(Epic and Steam, no GOG). I have this for free on GOG and Epic but don't have a powerful GPU to play with RTX. I suppose it would be a good use of the 3 months of free GeForce Now Priority from Chromebook perks.
Only catch is that the GOG version is Ultimate Edition. Hope I don't lose too much by playing the standard version on Epic.

Honestly I probably need to do that so I can finish the game. The overall gameplay and mechanics were so strong I hated to uninstall Control but I was constantly running in circles to the point I felt I was lost more than advancing. Same thing with Jedi: Fallen Order, an exercise in frustration.

I found that using the in-game signs and directions were much much better than the minimap. I was so frustrated with the minimap but once i realized the signs posted were way better for navigating, it resolved any issues I had with the game.

Not really sure how I got it. But I have it on the Epic launcher. I didn't buy it so it must have been a free giveaway at some point. I liked the game. I think $10 is a fair price.

It was free twice on Epic in 2021, it was also free on GOG via Prime Gaming in 2021.
