As someone that generally likes Starbucks I have to disagree. If you just walk in off the street and order a drink it is kind of weak. Tastes fine but it is weak. For comparisons sake there is a growing local chain in my area that is two buildings away. I went to Starbucks this week and got their Pumpkin Spice latte, tasted fine but didn't do much for me. A few days later I went to the local chain place and not only did it taste better but I was wired. No special orders, no adding shots, nothing, both stock drinks. I will argue that McCafe is even weaker than Starbucks. I buy these little $1.29 Mr. Brown coffees from H Mart and drink them in the morning and they are strong. To me Starbucks is more about going to get a drink that tastes nice rather than a drink that is strong.
