Seems like a good price - anyone have any experience with this?

It was running okay for me for about 10 months. Disconnects every so often and takes about a minute to reconnect. Not sure if the issue was my phone (Oneplus 10T), car (Hyundai Elantra 2023), or the MA1. Otherwise, it worked fine. However, recently, it's been trying to connect repeatedly and disconnecting every few seconds so I tried resetting it, which is less intuitive than I'd like (apparently have to clear Bluetooth connection on car and phone for MA1, car, and phone) before setting it up again.

I bought the AAWireless that was on FP recently since it seemed more promising with constant updates and a companion app, which I hope will be much more useful in case I have connection issues but won't know until I get it in a couple days.

EDIT: Turns out my MA1 is stuck in a boot loop and Motorola is sending me a replacement, but will probably stick with the AAWireless unless it starts having issues too

I had it, it made my Samsung phone burning hot, and ran the battery down 10% in my 30 minute trip. I sold it. But I bought a new vehicle with wireless AA, and the same thing happened to my phone with that too, so I just use wired. It may not happen with your phone.

Mine worked for 11 months and like what the above comments have already mentioned, it constantly disconnects now. I'm unsure if it's the Motorola MA1 or the Android Auto itself.

My experience was very similar to this. I had one that worked ok for a few months but then got more and more unreliable until it stopped connecting altogether. Motorola sent me a replacement this past February that has been flawless since I got it.

Got mine about 1.5 years ago when they first dropped. It takes a bit to connect (maybe 30 seconds or so) and occasionally doesn't connect at all (very rarely). In the latter cases, I just pull it out and slide it back in and it connects. It has been a great device for me. The battery drain is going to happen regardless if AA wireless is stock, the MA1, or any other dongle because that's just the wireless connection being a battery hog. For short trips it's super convenient. For long trips I just plug my phone in so it doesn't drain.
