Same here, one note though: if the table loses power, it runs a motor check when power returns making that table lower and rise to their maximums. My wife will leave the arms down on her chair under the table which causes this thing to launch all the things off the top when they collide. 😮 💨

Does that make a difference? I mean I am sure the pieces are bolted together?

I think all these originate from the same Chinese factory. I just bought and setup that one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1 (48x 24, 120$) It is good for its price, but a little bit wobbly. The larger one comes in 4 pieces and from the reviews, it seems it wobbles more.

I also read that in many reviews but I just can't understand. From the assembly video, there are 6 screws attaching each piece onto the metal frame that should be rigid. Screws are not tight enough? or is the frame not tightened enough?

Iean 150 lbs it's really that much. Most of those and small entry benches that feel questionable sometimes hold over 200lbs

I just bought and assembled the smaller, 2 piece one last week and am impressed by the price/quality ratio.

The electric motor is really smooth for height adjustment. Easy assembly. I'd buy another.

I wonder how tough it would be to dowel the top together before assembly?

Maybe use Kreg jig and screws?

living somewhere with monsoons where random blips in power can be a regular thing during the summer months, that would be really annoying. thanks for the heads-up.

Does yours have wheels? Some of them show wheels and others do not.

Maybe at the minimum height.

I can't see much benefit in constantly raising and lowering your TV this way over getting an articulating arm mounted to either a normal TV stand or the wall.

If you happen to end up using it as a TV stand, make sure you secure the TV to it.

The only downside outside of aesthetics would be different heights of each segment, leading to a surface that isn't completely flat. If their manufacturing process is even half as good as IKEA's, I don't see that being a major concern.

Unless you need a perfectly level surface, get some shims or an XXL mouse pad.

As for the wobbling, I bet it could be fixed with some lock washers.
