City prices seem so high to me. Even on sale, this is still more expensive than the incredible Saturn V rocket they had a while back.

I guess this set is supposed to represent NASA's Artemis SLS rocket.

I just wished they had labeled it like that, instead of "Rocket Launch Center"

The Saturn V is an awesome model for $100 that it cost. 1969 pieces. Now most things are $10 / 100 parts and that can include the tiny dot parts. Anything under $0.10 / piece seems like a deal anymore.

Waiting on a realistic Artemis rocket like they did the Saturn V and Space Shuttle. The kid version is neat but not a collector version.

It's insane how expensive Legos are now. I'm definitely priced out because the value isn't there. Especially for the non-branded sets. I get that Disney and WB charge an arm and a leg for licensing and Lego has to build that into the cost, but non-branded sets are just Lego being greedy. At scale, I bet these sets probably cost less than $15 to build, even accounting for design, packaging, shipping, etc.

They can charge what they want, but I think Lego is going to find in 10-15 years that they've lost an entire generation by catering only to the enthusiasts, and they're going to struggle to get them back because the nostalgia factor won't be there.

While I agree somewhat, Lego isn't exactly raking in cash last I looked, they're a huge brand but they're not really as profitable as most businesses that size are expected to be in this day and age. I think a lot of adults like myself are also passing this love onto their kids even if it's harder to find reasonably priced kids playsets anymore.

I'd imagine it lacks in scale/accuracy and they probably want to leave room for a Saturn V/Shuttle/Etc level SLS model that focuses on the rocket as a "model" rather than a "playset".
