how is this vs. the flexvolt circular saw or even the makita 36v ones.those two are i think the two strongest battery powered circular saw in my opinion. also is there a difference between the ski brand vs. skilsaw brand. it's kinda confusing

SKIL, the company, split its products into SKIL, marketed toward general consumets, and SKILSAW, for professionals.

SKIL's parent company, China-owned Chervon, also owns EGO and FLEX... I just noticed they like their brands in all caps.

Problem with this is if im not mistaken all they make is this and a 10 1/4" version circ saw so your not getting into a platform for other tools and this doesnt even come with a battery. Idk maybe for ppl that need a replacement saw cuz there stopped working and already have batteries. If this was 10 1/4 prob make more sense for ppl since not many brands make that yet
