I saw in the Amazon reviews a mention about cracked PCBs on Gigabyte RTX 30xx and 40xx series GPUs. Is this something to be concerned about on this model?
Fair, but when the 7800xt is still $50 cheaper and 6800xt has been seen at stupid low prices this isn't really a deal
Also I highly doubt prices will rise come black Friday. Let's wait and see
And your comment is fair, also. But if one is going to buy a same-tier AMD card for less, they have to be willing to give up the raytracing and DLSS3 that the Nvidia cards have. Which is probaby why the AMD cards are selling for less in the first place.
And you're probably right - there'll be some GPU deals on BF, but I'd bet the number of cards offered will be depleted quickly on the higher-end 'deals'. Nothing like people camping out overnight at Bestbuy to grab an RTX 3080 several years ago, but still.

good idea to have a gpu support and not worry when it comes to the 3 fan. I mean, paying this much for one why not support it.
funny no one cares about GPUS anymore that crypto mining is dead
funny that now there is plenty of supply that they said there was a supply shortage?
better discount it by 50% for BF bois.
=D
No supply shortage? Why do you think this is now a dead deal or (good luck) backorder only? Why do you think that prices for 4080 and 4090 boards have stabilized at high levels?
There's just as good a chance that it'll be more expensive come BF, given that Nvidia would rather use TSMC fabs to produce their highest-margin H100 super AI chips.
People who complain about prices need to understand a few things:
1. The marketplace of supply and demand determines pricing.
2. No one has some God-given right to buy a GPU at what they consider the 'right' or 'fair' price.
3. Nvidia is a publicly traded company that maximizes profit wherever it can to produce profits for its executives and shareholders (the two groups overlap significantly), and support their share price, incuding expectations of profit going forward.
4. Nvidia doesn't really care whether you can afford $1600 for the low-end RTX 4090. As long as someone else does.
5. If you want to have the money to buy a 4080 or 4090, buy some Nvidia stock.
Welcome to capitalism, comrade.

I don't want to put words in your mouth, but are you trying to say that Gigabyte warranty support doesn't have a good track record?
They meant a physical support for the gpu I believe. But to expand on the assumed message, Gigabyte has a horrible support track record. I will never buy aorus/gigabyte again personally.

Damn, bought this card at Microcenter 1 week ago for 600$, It's a quiet, and fast card. Scored 4555 in Unigine Heaven Benchmark. 1080p, 8xAA, Ultra Quality, Tessellation Extreme. Stock clock speed.

They're referring to using a GPU support bracket in order to reduce sag/bending.
