I got this email, but I couldn't sign up because I didn't see any place to insert the code on the page to join Walmart+. On that page I can add the PayPal payment successfully but no place to enter the code. So where is the place to enter the code.

I believe you can create a new account, then use the code unless the code is specific to the email only.

For folks who are trying to figure out how this works, this is what I did. I have an existing Walmart account which never had any sort of Walmart+ trial in the past.

1) before clicking on the signup link from the email , I logged into the Walmart account in a separate browser tab

2) clicked on the signup link from the PayPal email I received. It automatically opened up the Walmart+ subscription page with offer code populated along with the trial expiration and other details.

3) no, the PayPal email for which the offer was received and the Walmart email doesn't have to be same , at least in my case and it worked

Thanks for the info and it works for me now when I try it on my laptop. It didn't work on my android cell phone even I cleared out the cache..

After creating a new Walmart account(+ trick with Gmail works with Walmart) sign up for a 30 day trial first, after that without signing out/closing the browser, click on the PayPal sign up which will add another 90 days of trial on top of 30 days trial which Walmart gives by default, so total of 120 days trial.

I just tried this and it worked for me.
