Do you like to game but also want a really nice screen to look at, and prefer a slightly smaller machine than a 17" one, and don't care if you spend $350 more? Try this one.

the color and gamma accuracy on this OLED are < 1.2 DeltaE and the coverage is all in the upper ninety percentile, ie sRGB, aRGB,DCI-P3. I tested these as I have my own spectrophotometer & colorimeter
As for 4k movies... we have been watching some 4k Netflix on battery (if not plugged in it won't do HDR/Dolby Vision) we can watch 2x 2 hours+ movies.
Sorry, we don't know how good it games as we haven't done any of this laptop. I would think the wheel might get in the way when your left palm is in WASD position
If you are a content creator and require color accuracy, you can't go wrong with this laptop.

Laptop Battle: ASUS vs HP vs Lenovo
If you're in the market for a powerful gaming and creative work laptop, three contenders stand out – the ASUS StudioBook 16, HP Omen 17, and Lenovo Legion Pro 5i 16". Which is best for you depends on your priorities and use cases. I'll compare the key differences to consider.
Performance
The ASUS and Lenovo feature the latest 13th gen Intel processors and RTX 40 series GPUs. This provides better performance and efficiency than the last-gen components in the Omen. However, the Omen's RTX 3080 Ti is still a powerhouse, outperforming the RTX 4060 in benchmarks.
For maximum graphics horsepower, the Omen 17 takes the crown. But the ASUS and Lenovo have an edge for CPU intensive tasks like video editing. All models pack speedy DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 SSDs.
Display and Portability
If you prioritize visuals, the ASUS pulls ahead with its gorgeous 16" 3200 x 2000 OLED display with vibrant colors and unmatched contrast. The Lenovo has a super fast 240Hz refresh while the Omen is still decent at 165Hz.
In terms of portability, the 5.3lb ASUS and 5.5lb Lenovo have an advantage over the chunkier 6.15lb Omen. The ASUS offers the most travel-friendly package.
Connectivity
The ASUS provides two Thunderbolt 4 ports for blazing 40Gbps speeds and connecting high-res monitors. The Omen matches it with one Thunderbolt 4.
The Lenovo lacks Thunderbolt 4 entirely, limiting external display options. It also only has one video output, restricting dual monitor setups. The Omen and ASUS do better here.
Upgradability
The ASUS and Lenovo both have two RAM slots and two M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots for storage expansion. The Omen is more limited with only one M.2 slot. (Still, you get thunderbolt!)
For future proofing, the ASUS and Lenovo are better suited for upgrading internally. The Omen is more constrained.
Use Case Scenarios
For frequent travelers who value portability, screen quality, and battery life, the ASUS StudioBook 16 stands out. It's the lightest and has that stunning OLED display.
As a power user needing strong multicore performance, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and dual monitors, I'd go with the ASUS or Omen over the connectivity-limited Lenovo.
On a budget, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i 16" packs incredible value at only $1249. You still get modern components and a superb 240Hz display.
If you mainly play games and want the maximum graphics horsepower, the HP Omen 17 and its mighty RTX 3080 Ti can't be beaten. Just be prepared for less battery life and upgradeability. (And let's be honest, none of these will have great battery life even if not gaming.)
