If you have Xbox Gold/Game Pass Ultimate you can buy
Marvel's Avengers Definitive Edition for Xbox One/Series S|X /PC for only $3.99 from the Xbox store.
Marvel vs Capcom 2 is not backward compatible with Xbox One or later, so it's not available for download unless you have an Xbox 360 (you can get to it from your download history).
It's actually a good reason to buy. Delisted games can no longer be purchased, but can still be downloaded and played (or if you have the physical disc).
The game can be played single player only, and the servers are not going offline. Single and multiplayer will all still work, and all marketplace items will be free.
Never played it, but I've heard the single player campaign was very good. I can't imagine it could ever be bad enough to make me regret buying it for $4.

I think it would be a good deal, but this game is online only isn't it? is it playable once no one else is playing? That would be the factor for me.

I bought the PS5 version for $6 a couple of months back just for the Spider Man exclusive since I dont have PSE. but since I have Gamepass for $4 why not (especially with the GameStop $5 monthly certificate) and play all the other characters online. That is assuming the servers are still online by the time I get around to playing the game since I have far better games to play first.
