Apologies, accidentally reported this deal as expired. In a nutshell, pretty good for PC gaming, not so much for consoles. Still waiting for that ~$400 2k 27" monitor that provides an equally good desktop and console experience. Leaning towards the LG Ultragear GP850-B at this point.

The 27q version, which is 165hz instead of 240hz but otherwise the exact same, has gone on sale on Amazon a few times to $208. Just an fyi to anyone that doesn't care about the negligible hz difference but does care about the $142 difference.

Is 165hz vs 240 really negligible? Not a shit reply I'm genuinely curious. I'm on a 60 Hz and was debating on getting a 144hz but thought if I went 240 it would be better. But the price jump was pretty significant.

You will never notice the difference. 165hz QHD screen is a perfectly capable high end screen.

I'm on the fence with this one, it has pretty good specs for a 1440P. I dunno if I should try and wait for Black Friday or not, it looks like the lowest it's gone is $300.
