Word of caution. My company deployed about 15 of these and they all had weird docking issues. We ended up having to replace them early.
They just released a BIOS update that really messed up my Gen 1 Nano and I returned it. FYI- These are still pretty buggy. Even with the pin restart the power button flashes and the computer will not shut down. In addition, I was forced to do the bios update since the battery was not charging with the recent Windows updates. It's a good deal although just be aware that these are going through some software hurdles.

Great FN deal. If it was 15.6" I'd be way tempted. Good seller too.
Lol, what? You know this is the X1 Nano, right? It's their one of a kind small and light laptop. Not sure what 15.6" you are talking about. Also, based on all the reviews out there, I wouldn't call this a good seller, but your mileage may vary.
Tempted to pick one up, but it's going to be a toy for me, and finding it hard to justify spending $600 on it. Also, the i7 version comes with 3 year on site warranty vs 1 year mail-in on this one, but that one is $120 more.
Prices of these have been steadily dropping and will continue to do so until they clear out this old inventory. So many good deals on laptops these days.

Why would that be a mistake? The gen 1 uses 11th-gen intel processesor. The gen 2 uses 12th-gen intel, but you won't find those anywhere near this price.

I wouldn't want the Gen 2 anyway - Lenovo went with the much higher-powered P-series processors, which the X1 Nano chassis just cannot handle, in terms of thermal and power limits. Those will put out a ton of heat, have a lot of fan noise, and throttle rapidly. Avoid.

I am not a stickler for upgradeable ram, but it does exist. Here's one weighing the exact same as this ThinkPad (2.14 pounds). Of course it's not a ThinkPad but it has been as low as $400 (sold out at woot). But the idea that it can't be done is a fallacy.

The Amazon listing has it as 4.9 lbs which is the package weight. Look everywhere else and reviews to see the 2.14 pounds.
I would pay more for a ThinkPad but the bios issues described above and usb-c issues I have read about scares me.

An off-brand laptop for $550? Thanks for contributing.
ETA: From the PC Mag review[pcmag.com]: That airy material gives the laptop a delicate feel, admittedly bordering on flimsy territory. The top panel in particular is worrying, bouncing back and forth even from the slightest shake of the chassis.
