Word of caution. My company deployed about 15 of these and they all had weird docking issues. We ended up having to replace them early.

They just released a BIOS update that really messed up my Gen 1 Nano and I returned it. FYI- These are still pretty buggy. Even with the pin restart the power button flashes and the computer will not shut down. In addition, I was forced to do the bios update since the battery was not charging with the recent Windows updates. It's a good deal although just be aware that these are going through some software hurdles.

You forgot to include the link to a 2-pound laptop with RAM slots at this price.

Even with Lenovo, Thinkpad>>>Thinkbook. Good screen and 16gb RAM, tempting.
Agreed, for keyboard alone let alone the superior build quality. ThinkBook's always get me tempted with specs for the price, but stick with ThinkPAD!

No way with these specs this is originally 2900 dollars the price seems about right for a sale price.

awesome form factor and weight but battery life is not great at all and at most got 4-5hr in between full charges. used this very same machine for work a couple years ago and that was my experience.

Great FN deal. If it was 15.6" I'd be way tempted. Good seller too.
Nano's don't have screens that big, you want a regular x1.
I have this exact model and it's f'ing amazing. It does have the 3/4 keys that are more flat, but I can type just fine on it. Screen is amazing, battery life is average but very good for something so light.

It's a portable powerhouse.

Great deal.
I would buy one if I didn't already have one.

Guess you don't know ThinkPads are the highest quality of builds of just about any laptops. And they sell for usually 50% to 200% more than other laptops. Other brands have their top tier but again even most of those don't compare to ThinkPads.
Note that the IBM thinkpad era is long gone. the build is probably still ok but the software reliability has gone way down. their list price is like Macy's - a one of a kind joke.

I got the previous touch deal for myself but then passed it on to my wife. She loves the X1 Nano. I'd get touch, though.

Not a good seller. Few years ago ordered xbox one s, was defective, rattled inside. Sent back with RMA. Had tracking, had confirmation, they claimed to have never received it, gave me the run-around, lied to me and pretty much ghosted me. Did a CC disputed with UPS proof of delivery and they actually fought me. Eventually got my money back.

I am not a stickler for upgradeable ram, but it does exist. Here's one weighing the exact same as this ThinkPad (2.14 pounds). Of course it's not a ThinkPad but it has been as low as $400 (sold out at woot). But the idea that it can't be done is a fallacy.

https://a.co/d/2Qn6dxI
The Amazon listing has it as 4.9 lbs which is the package weight. Look everywhere else and reviews to see the 2.14 pounds.
I would pay more for a ThinkPad but the bios issues described above and usb-c issues I have read about scares me.
X1 Nano Gen 1 should be as light as 1.99lbs with the non-touch display, not 2.14 lbs. the 2.14lb weight is for Gen 2. weight. I have this Gen 1 version and I've had no bios upgrade issues. Worked great till I spilled ice coffee over the keyboard. Actually it still worked even after that but I went and replaced the keyboard myself just in case. Still works great.

They should have put the 13.3 OLED display from the Asus ux325ea in this computer.
