My Z Fold can power it but I normally just plug it in and the power would pass thru and charge my phone as well.
It works well with a portable battery bank too.

What folks are missing here, discussed in the other thread, is that getting both is "free" right now because there's a $200 difference per device for trading in the newer generation versus the prior generation.

Can you please clarify what you mean here? I'm thinking about buying a s22 ultra and trading in my s8+ for a s23 ultra and s 9 ultra. Doing it this way and then selling the s23 ultra ends up with basically a free upgrade to the s9 ultra

I just bought 23ultra and tab S9 ultra, traded my s22 ultra and s8 ultra, my total without tax was 421

Bundled together gave me a discount saying it's your lucky day.

I will keep tablet and sell my s23 ultra.
