Its cooled with a giant 2D vapor chamber (as opposed to heatpipes like most laptops) and two unobstructed fans. Asus did not cut any corners here, and it puts other premium 13" laptops to shame.

But using the 3050 on battery (outside of short bursts for compute) is not very practical.

Get your facts straight before you come to downplay a deal.
This has never been below the $1000 mark for new.
The one you're talking about is the other model without the dGPU or the open-box.

So, not exactly a long time but long enough to conceivably use it for these types of things.

Me personally i thought the ryzen deal for 800 was much better as it had much better battery life. Unless you really need a detachable screen
