Nice watch at a decent price, but only if you can stomach trusting Joma with this kind of money. I had issues with Joma 2 out of 2 times of ordering (several years apart) so this is a hard pass for me.

Joma is SD's sponsor, so I expect this comment will soon be TD'd to oblivion and then hidden as unhelpful. So if you don't trust me, just check the respectable watch forums for the issues with Jomashop, then you will know what I am talking about..

Came close to pulling the trigger on one of these when they launched it. Diameter felt fine to me, but too felt tall in proportion.

Faux rivots are take it or leave it but the micro adjust clasp is pretty nice... Nicer than Omega's version. They need to put this on the BB GMT.

All considered, solid price on a solid watch.

I have two Omega watches that are worth in the high four figures. I visit SD at least twice every single day.

I would be careful with only having a two year Jomashop warranty on this watch. I have four Tudors and two of them needed service while under warranty.

Yeah, me too. Definitely looks very small on wrist. But if that's your style, it's a good deal
I don't think this watch is too small considering Tissot released a 35MM version of the PRX watch and when I saw one at Macy's it looked really small. Personally for me a 39MM watch is just about right.

Time for the gym. Work on normal size wrist before upping watch size. Thank me later. When ya hit 90 & still kickin.

What kind of issues?
In the first case, I bought a brand new Breitling Skyracer Chrono off of Joma ebay store. The watch was defective out of the box, with the chrono not resetting to 0 cleanly (i.e. got stuck on 56 sec). They refused the return saying it was a minor issue and I could fix it at a local watchmaker easily. Since it was bad out of the box, I just wanted to return or exchange. The next excuse was that I mishandled it, and now it's my responsibility. On and on it went until I had ebay ste in and force them to accept the return. Even then, they refused to pay for the return label, requiring me to pay for shipping, insurance and signature instead (around $45 at the time). Again I had to involve ebay... Fast forward 5 years, I bought a Tissot Automatic from Joma as a gift. The watch came with bracelet missing 3-4 links. The person for whom I bought had very wide wrists, so with these links missing, he could not wear the watch at all. Naturally, Joma refused the return again, on the grounds that I modified the bracelet even though the links were missing from the beginning. After 2 days worth of haggling and me threatening the credit card dispute, they agree to accept the return but refused to fund the return label, as was the first time. Again, it took me multiple phone calls, leaving multiple messages, and arguing endlessly to get them to pay for return.

I was fully aware that Joma was the "gray market" dealer, so the absence of warranty was non-issue. However the absolute disregard of customer, and the complete lack of customer service was a complete turn off. By the way, I ended up buying that gift watch from Ashford with 0 issues. The person for whom I bought that gift ended up buying another, way more expensive watch from Ashford (a Zenith), again, with 0 issues.

Bought a Rolex from them. Only issue is they forgot the warranty card initially but they ended up sending it later. No harm, no foul.

IMHO you got lucky. Or Joma cleared their act which is unlikely. If you decided trusting your money to Jomashop, do yourself a favor and read the comments on TimeZone, WUS, and REDDIT. They not all bad, just mostly checkered. Be prepared to receive the watch someone returned as new. And make sure to inspect it 100% before removing any tags, stickers etc. And if you have a tiniest suspicion - request and return. Unless it's buyer's remorse, insist them to provide you uwith prepaid return shipping label. It can be costly otherwise. The alternative is simple:
  1. Buy from AD but be prepared to pay more. AD sometimes can offer a small discount as well.
  2. Look for other Gray Market dealer: Ashford, Watchmaxx, or Chrono 24. I personally had very good experience with Ashford..
