Multiple versions of this drive exist, one with Kioxia BiCS5 flash, and another with the superior Micron B47R. This drive is similar to the PNY CS3140 that I just picked up, and that one came with BiCS5. This swap isn't uncommon with Micron restricting supply according to Newmaxx. The Teamgroup A440 Pro may be a better value at $95 currently. Supposedly still uses Phison E18 + B47R with improved flash from the initial version. I've ordered one and am hoping for the best.
Edit: Received the A440 Pro. Uses Phison+Micron and benches much better than the PNY in most all tests.

TM8FPR004T0C129 or TM8FPR004T0C128 is using SLC correct? Is there a better drive around $200?
