Those who game on laptops, do you use external mouse or gamepad controller?
Most would use this as a desktop replacement, so most would use an external kbm setup.
As far as the deal, not a fan of the seller, very poor reputation. And HP really needs to step up their screen game. While this screen isn't terrible, it is really bottom of the barrel on a machine of this caliber.
Strictly speaking worse laptop in a lot of ways than that legion 4080 deal but i bit since the 4090m basically very slightly beefier 3090ti[youtube.com] (with dlss3) and it'll do a lot better pushing 4K/VR. I just signed up for one of those numerous 0% apr 200 cashback cards for this thing, pushes it more reasonable competitive territory, since between the 4080 & 4090 its like a 15% difference at 4k. The reviews have this thing being able to cool itself reasonably well, screen not as good as the legion but not terrible. Wobbly monitor if you hate that but I'm just using this as a desktop machine, so whatever.

I use integrated keyboard with external mouse. I game on the laptops monitor.
That's not an RTX 4090, people. Maximum is equivalent between an RTX 3080Ti or maybe a 3090 for desktop card.
This is a laptop. Nvidia calls this laptop card a 4090. Nobody is buying a laptop thinking it has a desktop 4090 in it. The card itself is identical in specs to a 4080 desktop card with obviously less power and cooling potential because it's in a laptop and not a desktop. This thing is a beast.
