I don't know how good the 22W Sculpfun laser module is, but the 22W Laser Falcon 2 that I have works great. With that much power you can color engrave stainless steel or cut 1/2" wood in one pass.
If you buy one: Do not underestimate the smoke. You really need an enclosure and some sort of smoke absorption. And think about eye safety. It's best to put it in an enclosure.
