These really aren't worth the money imo. There are lots of better options in this price range.

Some of the negatives of this board: cheap pad printed ABS keycaps, cherry switches (yes this is a drawback compared to many modern switches believe it or not), solder board, and not so great costar stabilizers. I've actually owned this board in the past.

I personally also advise to steer clear from the big names as well like Logitech, Razer, Corsair, Steelseries, etc.

Personally, I'd recommend looking at Akko, keychron, gmmk, epomaker, etc. Akko is probably my budget brand of choice for the time being, but the others are good options too. Hot-swappable is always a nice option for anyone not super into tinkering. It gives you the option to change your switches easily without soldering.

I had the original variant of this keyboard in the early days when there were little options. This niche company gained publicity in the early days of esports. Mechanical keyboards are mainstream now and there are better keyboards to get at more affordable prices. Das Keyboards have not really changed anything with this in over a decade. The biggest gripe is keycaps as they could have utilized pbt instead of cheap abs. I replaced the original caps after a year of use. I have now relegated this keyboard with mx-brown switches to my office keyboard. I am proficient enough and been through so many mx-switches, that I don't really bottom out after the actuation point. mx browns are preferred in office mx reds don't work as its linear. Yes, i can still annoy my coworkers when they know I am frustrated with some patient visits when I am slamming out a progress note.

For me Das still has the leg up on most keyboards for one reason, the usb hub. Very few keyboards have multi port hubs. Though this is the less desirable usb 2 version.
