If this were the 'Natural' (made with sugar) I would be all over it. But this is the one made with HFCS which (health benefits/harms aside) tastes sickly sweet.

Please enlighten me/us. What is an "automated" chat refund? I've always needed to chat with a live associate (or call, which is typically a better option), and it's hit or miss. Sometimes, the process will be easy. Other times, it'll require a supervisor's intervention. Other times, they'll ask for photos of the damaged items. If there's literally an "easy"/ "automated" method (since straightforward returns on food aren't allowed), please share it. Thanks!
That's...odd. 9 times out of 10 the automated chatbot gives me the refund without human intervention at all, and I've never had to have a supervisor's intervention in 20+ years, nor have they ever asked for a photo. Maybe they've flagged your account? Do you request a lot of refunds? (Just guessing. Something must be different.)

They should stop selling products in glass jars (that frequently break) and canned goods (that are almost always dented)! Then, there's the low price for short-dated products issue. Purchasing food items from Amazon is always an adventure!🙄
My favorite are a bag of chips or a cereal box shipped in a gray bag with no protection. Crushed as all hell. Mind you, I selected Amazon Day shipping so it would ship with other items and the chips or cereal arrived on the same day packaged separately outside the box where the rest of the order was safely packed.

Another treat was them shipping a video card in a gray bag instead of a box. I did not eat the video card.

So glad to see this deal posted. Last week I inquired about Orange Marmalade at a couple of local stores. They never heard of this. lol (If you've ever been to the UK, you know about this).
You made my day with this post. I ordered one. Thanks Smilie

Same with me, they take me through hoops and sometimes still don't refund it.

If you have an ALDI near you, their jams and jellies are made in Germany, and none of them contain HFCS. They are also about the same price.

Sadly, the selection is somewhat limited, but they do have the orange marmalade.

these tend to break in shipping so try not to order anything to be delivered at the same time. if they do break its easy to get an automated chat refund.
I ordered a 6 pack of these earlier in the year, figuring they'd come in a plastic-wrapped cardboard flat like what you'd expect to see them at the grocery store putting them on the shelves from. I figured that would give them a good chance of arriving safely.

They shipped them LOOSE in a padded bag that was too big, and then that in a giant box with other things with a single little air bubble. Every jar was smashed to pieces, there was broken glass and jam all over every thing else in the box.

Insofar as only not having to physically return the items, that aspect is easier (but certainly not automated in any way). Returnable items are actually easier and more straightforward overall, though. No chat or phone intervention required. Those interactions are a mixed bag, depending upon the knowledge and competency of the associate. Some allow you to sail through the process. Others don't even have a clue and it needs to be escalated to leadership. I firmly believe that once you've exceeded a certain amount of food returns, you're blacklisted and they require photos of the damaged product. I'm not sure what that limit is (prior to making it difficult), but it's not many. It could also be related to how many food items you've returned within a certain time frame. The bottom line is that they have analytics and algorithms and don't always make things simple and easy (as you described) under their "no returns" policy.
I was required to sent pics and I made so far just 3-4 returns over 10 years...sucks.

I use the pineapple jam for cottage cheese. I used to use pineapple sauce for ice cream but it is more expensive. So much more slick to do this than buying cottage cheese with pineapple in it. Takes some stiring because it's thick but well worth it!

I try to avoid buying items on amazon that are marked non-returnable. Dealing with their customer service lately is like pulling teeth. Half the things the agents promise are lies.

Publix (mostly in FL, also in GA, and other states) usually has orange marmalade in stock.
