As an advice - get a 4-inch version (or longer) in case you are changing brake pads on your car, to push the pistons in. $5.55 isn't bad for the 4" forged c-clamp.

I always insist on drop-forged only for all my 1" C-clamps!

warning: this type of clamp will usually slip off any surface that isn't 100 percent flat. they really garbage

1 inch a bit small for my taste wish they were bigger nice deal though for someone working that small.

I just returned a similar looking one to home depot. They put it inside of one of my totes and I literally laughed. I can't even think why you would need a clamp that small.
