You know most android USB C ports are 2.0 and those that are 3.0 are the same standard as the new iPhone

Also no android manufacturer ships phones with usb c 3.0 cables

But I'm sure you thought you had some sort of "gotcha" going there
The joke is that apple always "innovates" by finally adding features to their products that everyone else has already done a long time ago. And then their customers always act like it's revolutionary while us normal folk just roll our eyes. I have a friend like this, and I'm sure many others here have friends like this as well.

Don't you dare laughing at Apple like that. What you said may be true, but the iPhone 15 series is still THE BEST IPHONE EVER!

Letting go of proprietary port is one of the biggest Apple improvements in decades!

"Can't innovate anymore, my ASS!!"
They called it "courage".

Hey there! The code seems to be working. Please let us know if you still have issues.
This comment from staff alone lets you know that this is a promoted product; yet I will still be ordering because of the price.

Slow transfer speed, for those who care.
I don't care...until I do. For me, it's not worth the worry. It's USB C. It's 100W. I want the speed to be up to date as well.

Yes, I realize some ppl don't care. But devices change. Times change. Not planning ahead a bit just creates more landfill junk.

Well, some people pay for Ferrari as their daily driver. I'll pass.
Cable to support high rate data transfer is naturally more expensive. It's not just extra strand of copper, it's high grade cable by itself.
There are definitely use cases for high speed cable, but if you have a few chargers here and there - cables which can do charging only mean you save couple (hundred) bucks but loose in a pretty unlikely case you suddenly need high speed. So far, I have 1 (one) USB-c device which needs high speed and it came with a dedicated 4" cable.

Linus had done a video the other day on extending USB signal, and a tidbit was: USB 3.1 gen 1 is limited after 3m (9.84 ft)

IMHO Buy a used cable from a reputable oem via ebay instead of these no names. They have been known to destroy devices. Rare, but possible.

I understand it's more expensive. But we're not talking about the delta between a Toyota and a Ferrari. It's not 6 or 7 figures. We're talking, relatively, pennies. Unless it's a one-done-and-toss it type of usage then it doesn't matter. Otherwise cutting corners on such things to save a couple of coffees is foolish. There are better ways to save.

The last thing the world needs is more cheap shit in landfills. USB-C will be around for a while, especially now that Apple has been forced to go USB-C. Cheap shit cables simply don't make sense at this point.
