IMHO Buy a used cable from a reputable oem via ebay instead of these no names. They have been known to destroy devices. Rare, but possible.
Can't stress this enough, I learned it the hard way. I am currently waiting for the replacement of the charging port of my (s22 ultra). I thought it got damaged due to moisture.
But 3 days ago, both my old phone (s20+) and tablet are having charging issues as well so I suspected it must be caused by the replacement charger I am using. Last night, shortly after plugging in my wireless charger to my original samsung fast charger using replacement usb c cable, smoke came out of the usb port of the wireless charger. I changed the usb c cable and same thing happened. Both cables I used are cheap high power USB-C cable from temu. Now after destroying 2 phones and 1 tablet, I am 100% sure it was due to the cheap cables.
100w 10gbps cables are like 4x this price if not more for a single cable. How will a charger end up in a landfill due to transfer speeds? It's still usable ad a charger. You're inventing fake scenarios to win an argument you're having with yourself. It's not a good look.
You get good quality 3.2 cables for 10 bucks a pop sometimes cheaper

The iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max is USB 3.1 from the year 2013.
This cable appears to be USB 2.0. 22-year-old standard. Just like the brand new iPhone. Cutting edge stuff there!
