Chase Freedom cardholders - 2023 Q4 5% bonus category includes Wholesale stores, such as Costco! Better than the usual 2% with Citi Costco.

Don't forget to activate the bonus, which is valid between October 1 - December 31.

Maybe? I live in NJ. I go to the Costco near Quakerbridge Mall and I walk into the food court a couple of times per month without showing membership. Mind you, I now have a Costco membership but even when I didn't I would eat there.

You might be right. But I walk in as if I'm going to Customer Service and no one stops me after that.

Thank you, duh 😁 just looked it up and looks like it's the large (with perfect linear dimensions not exceeding airline requirements, like many Samsonite suitcases nowadays) + carry on set which is exactly what I was looking for. Will be in for one or two when it goes live 🤩

Food court doesn't need membership, in fact you can't even scan it if you tried.

Other items depend on the state. In some states, they also have to allow non-members to buy alcohol and Rx drugs. Typically it will be easy to tell - if the alcohol is BEFORE you enter the main store, then you don't need a membership to buy (and a CSR told me that you don't get cash back for Executive purchases of alcohol either, at least in CT).

No, I have not. I've only used them domestically. In my experience, unless a piece of luggage is egregiously large, they usually don't pull out a ruler and measure down to the centimeter. I think weight is the greatest consideration for most airlines and that it appears to be reasonably within size.

I've been watching the LG 55" since I've really liked the screen from what I've seen in stores, but at only $20 off, I think I'll chance Prime Day/BF deals on 50-55" TVs. Is a part of the upgraded Costco Direct offer, so maybe they'll upgrade the discount again like during Labor Day and I'd jump on it.

I assume there are factors at Sam's that turn off customers and less customers can turn off even more customers like me.
