I think most people want to know how good of a job it does compared to the Vitamix to see if they can get by with a $70 purchase vs over $300 purchase for their needs.

I bought one of these. Seems like a nice blender, has done well in liqufying things into hot sauce. I don't use my blender all that often so I'm not exactly in for vitamix money. No complaints.

I'm really confused by all of the comparisons between a 70 dollar ninja and literally any vitamix.

These ninja blenders all use plastic fittings for the connections - with a fairly powerful motor, it's too much stress on the cheap plastic pieces, I've had a few and they've all outlived the warranty by about two months. Don't waste your money
I think that's what happened to mine. What exactly breaks, so I can confirm?

This is useful for a variety of things but you should note that it chops things up very small, vs puree. If the main goal is smoothies and purees, a Vitamix is so much better. Another key advantage on a vitamix is the ability to stir while it's on which you can't do with a Ninja. Still, for the price this is a great package.

Does this crush blackberry seeds in smoothies as well as a Vitamix?
This Ninja Blender does crush blackberry seeds, but I'm not sure why you would want to also crush your Vitamix Blender in it.

I think that's the point for Ninjas. It's a $70 blender with a relatively powerful motor, you can't compare it to a $500 Vitamix.
