This may be YMMV, but cheaper if you do it piecemeal through Bedbathandbeyond.com (now owned by Overstock). For example, I just added these two to my cart and the site offered me a 12% off coupon:

Toto Drake Round Universal Height, $127.58 (bowl only, you decide which bowl you want: tall/round, tall/elongated, or standard/elongated): https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/...:CartItems
Toto Drake 1.6gpf tank only, $105.09: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/...:CartItems

-12% coupon: $204.75 plus tax (YMMV, otherwise $232.67), free shipping. Fulfilled by Build.com, which is Ferguson's website (another reputable retailer)

And here's the tall+elongated bowl, if you prefer that. Looks like it's about $20 more expensive, but still a bit less than Amazon with the coupon: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/...:CartItems

This is how I got mine last month, and you may get even better coupons.

Edit: just played around on the site and got offered a 17% coupon, so the total with the round bowl is $193.12+tax. Elongated is $224.84.

I bought this toilet for the toto bidet I bought along with auto flush. It has been a year and it's a dream. No clogs and the toilet is always clean, just light cleaning every few months. I am very happy with the purchase and this is a great deal that you can add a bidet to or keep it as is.

Anyone know how much it would cost to have this installed and remove a old one? I prefer elongated bowls and have a round one at my house.

Depends where you are but probably around $200 or $250, probably more if they need to replace the flange (probably unlikely)

I got a Toto Drake for my bathroom remodel and I'm disappointed. Thought I was getting something premium as it was my first Toto product. The CEFIONTECT Ceramic coating is useless. If anything things stick on it more than my old toilet. You aren't supposed to use a regular toilet brush on it either as it can scratch the coating.

The toilet isn't made in Japan either. My pieces were Mexico and Vietnam.

Only good thing are the compliments when people in the toilet know compliment my Toto.

I contacted 5 star plumbers in my area to install my toto and chose the cheaper one which was $366. The more expensive one was $425.

Where is it that cheap? I live in the Richmond VA area, not a high cost of living area, and it was closer to $400.

You have to get the one that ends in "G" (like this one) that has the glaze to prevent sticking.

I don't know the hype with these toilets. I have two and they constantly leak at the fill valve. I know how to change the gasket now, but toilets shouldn't have to be on a DIY schedule.
Agreed, not a fan of mine either.

Yup, the CA legislators banned these shipping here, no surprise
It's a sad day when the government gains the power to regulate people's toilet selection 🤣
