Here's one plumber I followed at the time and his current toilet recommendations: https://terrylove.com/crtoilet.htm. He runs a plumbing forum [terrylove.com] where you can probably get more use info on toilet recommendations (including discussion of the CST776 Drake toilet [terrylove.com]).
similar with faucets from a plumbing store which has more brass internals vs the plastic components in big box store models
This will dispose of the largest of BMs and not clog

As for the toilet itself, depending on your diet, bits of soft stool can dangle and latch near the rim touching the water top after flushing since the water level is low. Hard stool won't really be an issue. I keep a dedicated cheap water spray bottle and loosen the nozzle so it's a jet to shoot the specs of turd loose since I really don't want to keep cleaning turd off a brush. It's possible someone in the house scraped the coating off with a hard brush so YMMV. The flap's also mucked after a year I have to wiggle it a few times for the tank to fill but I'll get that repaired eventually. Outside of that, does it flush? Yes it does.

I moved to a new house and have not really considered switching out the toilets unless I have to at this point. I hopped on the bidet train and have been eyeing the all-in-one toto washlets if I do have to replace any in the future.
