Similar promo ran last year. Some promo codes were sent out. When signing up for a "free" alltrails account with the code, a credit card had to be entered. Even after entering a valid code for "free" account, the credit card was still charged for full-price membership. PIA and waste of time to get the charge reversed. You had to find a way to contact alltrails directly, or go through a credit charge chargeback process. Either way, it was a complete waste of time just to get account cancelled and charge reversed. Don't bother with this "free" account, not worth the time or aggravation.

Worked fine for me last year. Got a 6mo code from this deal, but have to wait for last year's free 12mos to expire before adding it.
