Avoid it like the plague.

I bought the first one and it shorted out shortly after the one-year warranty.

I bought the second one and, again, it shorted out shortly after the one-year warranty.

No, I didn't buy it a third time.

We got one last round. Love it, use it daily (iced and hot).
I primarily purchased this for the iced feature. Are you getting good results. I find it almost impossible to put enough ice in to not melt and be like warm. Any tips?

For those willing to do a bit extra and have the time: we brew up a pot of coffee, let it cool, then fill up a few ice cube trays with the coffee.

That way you get "iced" coffee without the watered-down taste. Hope this helps someone.
We just fill up big mason jars with the coffee and use the plastic Mason brand screw lids and stick them in the fridge. Then you can just use regular ice. I've found that paired with a Bunn coffee maker it's pretty easy to do daily.

Remove the drain/stand. Use a glass that wouldn't fit with the drain in place (i.e., a very large glass). Fill it pretty much completely with ice. Add sugar (it has a better chance to dissolve in the hot water) and, of course, use the little ice button. I'm actually enjoying a glass now. We haven't had any trouble.

Thanks I'll give it a try. I'll have to use coffee cubes with that much ice otherwise it has to be pretty watery in flavor.

We don't have any problem using k-cups. Even flavored decaf is plenty strong (for us).

Girlfriend saw this the other day at Walmart and really liked how cute it looks and now wants to replace her current older model. I told her to go for the premium one that was on sale at Costco for $99 2 weeks ago but I don't think she liked the larger reservoir I really like the color on this one. Wonder if we'll see this at a lower price from now to Christmas?

I've had mine for a few years now. The water reservoir is good for 3 12oz cups before you need to refill, that's the only problem with it

The plastic pollution is more reason enough to avoid it.

Still works! I got it! we needed a new one as the one I currently have is 6+ years old, plus it saves counter space and I've really been wanting one that does Ice coffee.
I thought the same and replaced my 5+ year old model and got the more modern type from Costco (one that pokes 5 holes on top of the pods for better flavor extraction) and it stopped working after a year. Luckily Costco took it back for refund and I still kept my older model which still works well. I wouldn't trust these newer ones for longevity.
