  • Choose Your Faction
    • Choose between the United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire, Romulan Star Empire, or Cardassian Union. You will take on the role of the leader in charge of all the major decisions of your faction as the game unfolds. With each faction having their own unique styles of play, your decisions determine how successful you are in reaching your goals.
  • Iconic Characters
    • Star Trek: Infinite has been meticulously created to provide an immersive Star Trek experience while allowing you to shape the story of your playthrough according to the choices you make as the leader of your chosen faction. As you take on the role of the Federation, you'll have the opportunity to recruit iconic captains and officers, including Picard, Janeway, Sisko, and Data to name a few. Meanwhile, other factions offer their own set of iconic characters to enlist, such as Gowron, Makbar, Garak, and many more.
  • Diverse Starships
    • Beyond the potential cast of characters you recruit to your faction, the game grants you access to a range of starships from the Star Trek universe, tailored to each faction's arsenal. From the Federation's reliable Intrepid- and Defiant-class ships, the menacing Cardassian Galor-class vessels, the sleek Romulan D'deridex, or even the formidable Klingon Negh'Var battleships.
    • Of course, the Enterprise-D can be developed and added to the Federation fleet through the bespoke storytelling system developed for Star Trek: Infinite.
  • Deep & Complex Strategy
    • Star Trek: Infinite is built upon the core systems of Stellaris, leveraging the deep and complex system and making them its own. Aspects of these systems have been streamlined and simplified to better resonate with the Star Trek franchise.

I know the episode you're referring to, and I still have no idea what you're talking about. There was nothing about gender changing or altering in that episode. I think you're confusing gender with sexuality. Dax's former male host (Torias), now female (Jadzia) was trying to reconnect with a former female lover (Lanara). Nothing to do with "transgender" anything.

No? It's a Paradox Interactive game built on Stellaris bones.

Do we think it's safe to assume that this will have 784953 pieces of DLC like most Paradox games?
i hope not... but we will know at launch if they only have 4 races at start then they will be selling you cardasians, borg, dominion, ect.

Any word on how this will play on Steam Deck? I've never played Solaris and I have serious concerns about whether it plays well with a controller and if the text will be microscopic.

You can't even write the character's name right. It's Jean Luc Picard.. I agree though, and Wesley Crusher...

You are confusing this with the much better show of Stargate.
They are just as confused as you are, because everyone knows that the main guy's best show was MacGuyver…

Is this a real answer because if it is that means this is going to be awesome. I'm addicted to Stellaris/Crusader Kings.

Only better news would be if it was built on Crusader Kings bones so you could marry your daughter in it.

So a Mod to bring Star Trek to Stellaris already exists and its very good, but I wont lie I am drooling to get something official, so I have to throw money at this just cause its Star Trek. Paradox did a lot of us dirty with the horrible game Victoria 3, but I know if I dont support this IP it might be another 20 years before we get a good Star Trek game. Cant wait to give this a shot.

Pretty sure hes thinking of the Tuvlix (SP) episode where Tuvok and Neelix merge due to a transporter accident.

One for every race for SURE. I mean how can we have a star trek game without the Borg, than you have all the minor races from past and present.... I wont lie I am okay with this as long as the prices of the DLC are reasonable.

Just download stellaris and give it a shot, I am thinking it will play fine since i believe stellaris is listed as steam deck compatible.

Christopher Judge was a great guest star on MacGuyver.
