  • Choose Your Faction
    • Choose between the United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire, Romulan Star Empire, or Cardassian Union. You will take on the role of the leader in charge of all the major decisions of your faction as the game unfolds. With each faction having their own unique styles of play, your decisions determine how successful you are in reaching your goals.
  • Iconic Characters
    • Star Trek: Infinite has been meticulously created to provide an immersive Star Trek experience while allowing you to shape the story of your playthrough according to the choices you make as the leader of your chosen faction. As you take on the role of the Federation, you'll have the opportunity to recruit iconic captains and officers, including Picard, Janeway, Sisko, and Data to name a few. Meanwhile, other factions offer their own set of iconic characters to enlist, such as Gowron, Makbar, Garak, and many more.
  • Diverse Starships
    • Beyond the potential cast of characters you recruit to your faction, the game grants you access to a range of starships from the Star Trek universe, tailored to each faction's arsenal. From the Federation's reliable Intrepid- and Defiant-class ships, the menacing Cardassian Galor-class vessels, the sleek Romulan D'deridex, or even the formidable Klingon Negh'Var battleships.
    • Of course, the Enterprise-D can be developed and added to the Federation fleet through the bespoke storytelling system developed for Star Trek: Infinite.
  • Deep & Complex Strategy
    • Star Trek: Infinite is built upon the core systems of Stellaris, leveraging the deep and complex system and making them its own. Aspects of these systems have been streamlined and simplified to better resonate with the Star Trek franchise.

I know the episode you're referring to, and I still have no idea what you're talking about. There was nothing about gender changing or altering in that episode. I think you're confusing gender with sexuality. Dax's former male host (Torias), now female (Jadzia) was trying to reconnect with a former female lover (Lanara). Nothing to do with "transgender" anything.

No? It's a Paradox Interactive game built on Stellaris bones.

Janeway did him wrong 😭
First episode of Season 4 of Lower Decks was a Voyager related episode that really covered Tuvix, if you haven't already watched it, it's a fun episode.

Interested to check out this game, as others noted most lately seem to just be P2W and not that fun mobile games. Hopefully they do right by the IP.

That is a very strange name for a Earl Grey tea drinking "Tyke" or Yorkshireman. You sure it isn't Gene Luck Pichard? Sounds much more Anglo-Saxon.
LOL, I bet he also thinks it was pronounced "Dah-ta."

Christopher Judge was a great guest star on MacGuyver.
He was great as Officer Jebediah Turner on CHIPS.

Yep. So much wasted space. I hoped to learn more about the game, but instead, people are arguing/posting about unrelated things, wasting time and screen real estate. Sigh.

I did find this game trailer deep dive by a YouTuber, which had some good information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DI4YEBHKsiQ

Given it's a pre-release nobody really knows the answer to that- other than if you consider other 4x games from the studio as good.

I guess read the reviews of Stellaris and if you think "that, with a trek theme on it, would be fun" you'd probably like it.

IGN did a "preview" of it but again refers back to Stellaris as to how things generally work

Sorry, some people are just interested in learning the lore and backstory of these scifi book series, they are very complex.

I want Wesley to come back having changed into the next version of Q. I liked him as a teen when I first watched the show, but not as much as an adult. I liked him on Big Bang Theory, though. My wife and I are midway through the first season of DS9 right now.

Trek games have been disappointing more often than not. I'm waiting for some gameplay videos before dropping cash on this.

No clue, but its using Stellaris as the bones for the game. So its safe to assume if you enjoy Stellaris which I do a lot, have 100's of hours in it, I will enjoy this. If you dont own Stellaris but have Microsoft Game Pass Ultimate I believe its still free up there.

I enjoyed Stellaris a lot and I am a huge Trek fan even if its bad for $25 it was worth the purchase just to keep the IP alive. If it was anything else but Star Trek I would have said the same thing though. I pre ordered Victoria 3 and the game was complete trash.... so Paradox does not deserve the loyalty factor, but since its Trek I will be hopeful.

As I mentioned earlier there is a very good Star Trek mod, I believe it was ST New Horizons and its pretty fun to play too.
