In the actual ebay listing, it is mentioned as NEW, but in actual Lenovo website, it is showing as Refurbished. Is the ebay listing is an error? have you faced any this type of scenarios?

Been looking for a Thinkpad for a long while and pulled the trigger on this one.

Hopefully will not regret not getting one with an AMD CPU but I don't feel like waiting any longer for the Framework AMD reviews to roll in.

I just priced a P14s Gen 4 with 7040U (Zen 4) on Lenovo's website for just over $900 after promo code WSDEAL13 and 5% ID.me discount. A refurbished Gen 2 with Intel Tiger Lake for just $200 less is a pretty terrible deal in comparison.

I have the Amex Offer ($100 off $500) on multiple cards and could split payment to get $200 off (order comes to $1000 with tax). That makes the effective price about the same as this "deal."

Why do people prefer the AMD over intel?
