Considering the XFX Speedster SWFT 319 6800xt was on sale very recently for $430, the 6800 has been sitting at $430 for months and has already dipped down to $400 previously, and the general downwards trend of gpu prices in general (exacerbated by the release of the 7800xt), I can only consider this as a decent but not exceptional deal. Anyone willing to wait will likely be able to find a better deal, though if you really need a gpu right this instant this deal isn't bad.

I just want to play Starfield on 1440p in ultra settings. Currently using GeForce Now and loving the graphics, but I hate having to log into my windows for GamePass through their app everytime, and time getting times out of idle for 7mins.
My current 1070ti can't seem to handle Starfield 1440p even at low settings lol
Now prices still high and 6800 non-XT not good as XT for 4K/60 on Ultra settings.
And yes, 16GB GPU RAM is new standard.
50fps if crowd/grass/reflections - low and shadows - medium
Anyway Starfield not optimized and graphics too old and shitty.
And I play in Baldur's Gate 3 on ultra settings 4K, game MUCH better in everything.
5700 XT from eBay just $120-150.
None of this takes away from the advantages that nvidia does have: dlss, better raytracing, cuda, nvenc, better power efficiency, more optimized performance in certain productivity workloads, etc. Likewise, amds' drivers are not worse to a meaningful degree such that they mitigate amds' advantages: far better value for gaming in dollars per frame (particularly in raster), and significantly more vram at the same price tier.
Also, to hopefully preemptively ward off any ad-hominem attacks about me being an "amd fanboy", I'm currently running a nvidia gpu in my computer and happen to think both amd and nvidia are greedy corporations that don't give a crap about their customers. If you've got any actual data to back up amd's drivers being a major concern I'll gladly retract my statements.
