Why this over Hisense u7k from Amazon ?
No contest. The Sony is best in class at motion handling, upscaling, and processing. You'll thank me and the thread later when you get the Sony over the Hisense.

This or spend a lil more for a 77" OLED? LG B2 or B3, something like that?
I have a C1. I'd say spend a little more for the Oled but I'm biased.

It gets plenty bright for daytime viewing. For a light controlled area then go with an OLED.

I bought this TV two years ago for $1800. It is not quite the OLED, but most of the time, it would be hard to tell the difference. This is a very good deal.
Look for blooming and you can easily tell the difference.

I managed to snag this same model at Costco (they add the c in the part number ... ck) adds backlit control, but otherwise the same - mine was a display model - but they include the 5yr warranty so why not ... marked down to $800

Definitely not for x90k which is sony lowest end product line. Actually rtings rates x90k sports/motion only 7.6, one of lowest score in 75 class.
