I bought this TV two years ago for $1800. It is not quite the OLED, but most of the time, it would be hard to tell the difference. This is a very good deal.
If you have room, highly recommend this TV! I bought a open box and it's been great. Off course it's not as good as OLED but for this price, it's definitely worth front page slickdeal! one drawback for me is glare on the screen when placed infront of lights or near window.

Consumer report: Hisense was rated "fair" with a 20% failure rate within 5 years and was removed from their recommended list along with Vizio.
If you follow any Audio/Video forums you'll see a daily trend of "Is my Hisense TV supposed to look like this". This is why you don't blindly trust RTINGS, because they don't look at reliability
Anybody know if this TV supports connecting a Bluetooth gamepad I'm looking for a TV where I can download the geforce now app and then connect my gamepad to it and stream games from the cloud using GeForce now
I've been eyeing this one for a while. Almost bought an open-box at Costco for $800 in August. Supposedly there were stores around me with brand new ones for $697 but I think they went quickly.
Anyone think this TV will go any lower for Black Friday? I can wait another ~6 weeks if it means saving another $2-300.
