Amazon reviews are saying this particular release is mislabeled and it does not include the fake trailers and advertisement that showed in theaters. It's the extended cut of each film, but without the bonus features. Apparently, there's another version that has it

For $8, I don't really care if it's missing those. I can probably find them on YouTube if I really want to watch them. Some people, on the other hand, do care about stuff like that. If you can confirm one way or the other, it will be quite helpful.

I got this back in 2010 I think. Its the same version that was in theaters. All the trailers and the two films back to back. The individual releases had longer cuts, so if youve never seen this at the theater back in the day, youll notice the two films are shorter.

I remember the commercials for the theatrical release of death proof and planet terror was just called Grindhouse. I guess they were released individually, but this disc shows the theatrical double feature.

Some version of those 2 movies got really rare and expensive at one point, but it looks like you can buy all 3 versions again now?

who knows, those of us buying blu rays still are basically old farts at this point lol

This release used to have the complete Grindhouse experience (fake trailers, etc). If you buy this version the packaging is the old packaging that says Grindhouse on disc 1 and bonus features on disc 2, but when you open it up you get a disc of Death Proof and a disc of Planet Terror, both extended editions. No Grindhouse cut.
