I know no one has a crystal ball, but how likely are prices for Gen3 SSDs like this to fall further? I'm specifically looking for Gen3 SSDs to upgrade in some older laptops that only support Gen3, and I've read that this P31 model is the best for use in a laptop as it runs cooler. Not in a rush to upgrade so I can wait longer if it's likely that prices will fall further. I'm not sure if there's a price trend difference in the market for Gen3 vs Gen4 SSDs, where perhaps prices on Gen4 ones are more likely to fall further, but Gen3 ones may not if the supply for each are different?

Well, funny you ask...

Also, remember: wattage at max performance is a decent indicator of heat (and battery drain). I believe the Solidigm drive on sale for $62 from Newegg (also via Walmart) and Amazon is a low wattage NVMe.
Fight me.
Gen3 is cooler tho

They want you to make you feel like you missed out so when they have this deal again at the exact same price, you will immediately buy it.
Manipulation at its finest.
