Also keep in mind that if you set your DoorDash payment method to Mastercard you will get $5 off even if you ultimately pay the balance with a gift card. This is especially useful for small pickup orders.

i got my order receipt 1 minute after my purchase and my confirmed purchase email 15 minutes later with a separate email for the egift card.

The weird thing is I'm not a world or world elite card holder, just a regular Citi Doublecash card with a Mastercard logo, but it still gives me this discount. So in summary I'm not sure, but if you've got a Mastercard it could be worth trying to punch it in and see if it offers you a lower price on checkout.

AMC customer service is non-existent. Phone number says to use Twitter & Facebook. Twitter & Facebook says to use email. No response from AMC on email and get told it takes a month. Ended up filing a Better Business Bureau complaint and their local rating went to an F after they didn't respond to the BBB either.
