I keep the original emails in a folder in Gmail and when I go to one of the stores, I redeem the happy card on my phone while shopping, and the gift card gets emailed to me within 2-5 mins. I haven't yet had it take longer, so it's a nice way to keep your options open and not have to choose a brand up front.

I can't reach a real person on the phone, and the online contact us form keeps erroring out too.

Now I see it says, gift card can be exchanged, and I don't know how that works. So maybe someone can clarify that?
That said, if it turns into an actual Gift Card instead of the credit card type payment method, then you likely won't be able to buy other gift cards with it.

Having said that, their sales system has never actually disallowed the transaction to go through.
