I'd just caution that people purchase 1 to start to make sure it applies well, then purchase as much as your pocketbook allows. Ultimate is $17/mo and this is somewhere around 4-4.50/mo, and if you extend out 3 years it'll probably be 20 a month by the end.

You'll actually get a better deal this way since it's a 3:2 conversion rate for new Ultimate subscriptions. Since you bought 10 x 3 month Core codes, those will convert into 20 months Ultimate (compared to 16.6 months if you were already an Ultimate subscriber).

will it still work if I have already added core keys to the account? Wouldn't you have an "active subscription" as soon as you enter those core keys?

I tried something - and failed - so posting here so others don't fall for it. I found a 12 month Game Pass core TURKEY based key (it just means you need to vpn to turkey before redeeming on Microsoft website) for 24.xx Euro,
Purchase went fine $28 USD after converting.
When I redeemed on Microsoft site (on Turkey VPN), it only added 4 months - so conversion was 3:1… = 0.333 (expected to add approx 200 days - 6+ months)
The method listed in this post is converting 3 months to 50 days, which is 90:50 - = 0.55
So for whatever reason there is a different in conversion, and perhaps has the region key based difference.
So Don't buy the 12 month Turkey key, buy the 3 month Global key!!!

The only reason to use 12 month Core codes is when you are a new or expired GPU subscriber. In that case you can get 3:2 conversion (the best deal).
