Got these last time around. Wouldn't recommend for older kids. They're not strong enough to run on grass. My 9 yr old nephew was very disappointed

Got these for my 5 and 3yo. They enjoy them and seem better that most rc cars at this price point. As the other poster noted that these don't run great outside and will add they have a huge turning radius. For kids this age, they're fine.

I am going to age myself, these look like remote controlled Stompers. (Anyone remember those?)

Bought these for my kids (4&5) and they are complete garbage. Tires fall off constantly and burn through batteries. Wouldn't recommend and regret buying them last time they were this price.

I'll echo other posts on how they're not strong enough to run on grass. Carpet and hard surfaces seem to be best. Also the tires tend to slip off the wheel so you have to get them aligned right or they don't spin properly. That said my 2 and 4 year olds love em.

Thanks. Are they still worth it for 3.5 year old soon to be 2 in a few months?

If its their first RC car then yes it will be great to learn on. Its fun because you can play with together with your kids which I found to be the most valuable thing. Plus it is pretty stinking cheap.
