It was showing on their home page just awhile ago.

I have been looking at the site for a month after my first purchase.
They have weekly coupon for all items with 40% to 48%,
and 50% for selected items in each category.

The coupon main page:

wow, $150 for core i5 (Windows 11 compatible), 8gb ram (second DIMM slot being empty for easy upgrade), 256GB SSD, 14" 1080P screen with latitude 7000 series quality is a good deal.

Is this a better deal than the 5310? Is the speed difference in the newer chip obvious in real world application?

The 5310 is a smaller screen, faster processor, but smaller SSD (128GB). 128GB is really small. Those are cheap to upgrade but you'd have to reinstall the OS as well. Most people wouldn't notice the processor difference. I'd take this over the 5310 unless I wanted the smaller screen (and smaller laptop).

Yes, very similar laptops, not much of an upgrade though if you're looking for that. This one should be a better build than the Acer and will likely last longer. This processor is going to be a good bit slower than the Acer's but you may not notice. This 14" laptop screen will feel a lot different than the 15.6" if you're used to that big screen.
