Not exactly but it gets close. 6800xt draws more power and has a different die. You can get an additional ~10% increase with OC the 6800 but the 6800xt is about 15% faster so it cannot be stable OC to match. The 6800 is a great card and if you can find a 6800xt under $450, that would be better deal.
Is 7800 xt for $499 better deal?

Been waiting on a good deal on a graphics card. Can't decide if this is the one or not. Seems like with all these sales prices may plummet soon, but Starfield bundle is only available through the end of the month.

Supposedly comparable to a RTX 3070 / 4060ti and those are $500+.... so pretty good value compared to nvidia. Starfield is just icing on the cake. The nvme isn't too much to get excited about, they sell for $23 and I consider 512gb too small. I guess you could buy an nvme - usb enclosure and use it as a big/fast usb drive.
I like MSI. I have a MSI 1080ti and it has been rock solid.
edit - oh be aware these are 3 x 8 pin pci-e for power, check your power supply before you buy.... I think mine only has 2... hmmm
The more I read and watch about Starfield, it sounds like another half baked Bethesda game that will probably take years of patching and mods to make it great. I don't think I need a $400 GPU upgrade right now just to play a meh game. But that's just me, yall can do whatever you want!!! If you NEED a GPU right now, this is probably the best $400 option (new).

edit 2 - stuck my head up my PC's ass and I do have an open 8 pin power, 1080ti is using 2. So should be ok.
